Both tap properly — metal interferes with NFC, so ours is shielded for it. The real difference is in the hand: wood is warmer to hold, which is most of why people ask to look at it, and it costs less — RM189 against RM249. Metal is heavier and catches the light.

What is a wooden NFC business card?
A digital business card in real wood: laser-engraved with your name, with an NFC chip inside. Tap it on a phone, or scan its QR, and your details save straight into their contacts — no app needed. Change those details any time; the card itself stays the same.
Which wood should I pick?
Beech takes the sharpest engraving, walnut is the one people comment on, and bamboo is the lightest in the hand. They are all the same price, so pick the one you would rather hand over.
Is the wood engraved or printed?
Engraved. A laser burns your details into the surface, so there is no ink to wear off and the card does not scuff the way a printed one does.
Does a wooden card still work with NFC?
Yes, on any phone that reads NFC — iPhone XS and newer need no app. Wood is naturally transparent to the chip, and our metal cards are shielded so they tap just as reliably.
What can you engrave on it?
Up to four things at no extra cost: your name, your company, your logo, and a QR code on the back. We test the QR on your wood first and only engrave it if it scans reliably.
How long does it take?
Wood cards are engraved and sent out the same week. Delivery is free anywhere in Malaysia.
